On my device a message appears. It reads: "Your Handheld Contact account has expired, please purchase/renew your subscription (visit www.handheldcontact.com/purchase.php or call 1-800-939-4737)". In order to correct this message, first ensure your acccount is active. Go to: www.handheldcontact.com and sign in with your Handheld Contact username (e-mail) and password. The 'Account Status' will indicate if you are Active or Expired. If expired, go to: http://www.handheldcontact.com/purchase.php to sign up again. If the account reads that it is 'Active', please follow these steps:
Note: This would only appear on Handheld Contact version 4.6 and higher. If you have upgraded the software and did not sync until a later date (at least 1 day later) this is what could have caused this issue to happen on existing Active accounts. You will need to close and re-open Handheld Contact to get access again. Also, this problem seems to appear if your device does not have an internet connection. If you are on an iPad and do not have access to the internet and try and sync, this message will appear. You MUST have internet access to maintain use of the app.
