How do I add Favorites to Handheld Contact?

This article will explain how Favorites are utilized within Handheld Contact. Please see the directions below for the required operating system:


iOS (iPhone/iPad):

1. Open Handheld Contact on the device.
2. From the Home view, tap on Favorites. This view will show as empty until new Favorites are added.
3. To add a contact to Favorites, open Contacts from the Home view.
4. Find the contact you wish to add and open their record.
5. Highlight the 'Details' tab. This should be the default display.
6. To the left of the contact's Name/Company tap on the star icon. The star will get highlighted in orange to signal it has been added.
7. Repeat steps 4-6 above to add as many contacts as needed.

The Favorites list will operate in the same manner with the same options as the Contact list but filtered to only the selected contacts.



Android:

1. Open Handheld Contact on the device.
2. From the Home view, tap on Favorites. This view will show as empty until new Favorites are added.
3. To add a contact to Favorites, open the Contacts from the Home view or from "hamburger" menu in the upper left corner.
4. Find the contact you wish to add and open their record.
5. Ensure that the 'Contact Details' tab is highlighted.
6. Along the top banner where the Contact Name/Company is displayed, tap on the star icon. The star will get highlighted in yellow to signal it has been added.
7. Repeat steps 4-6 above to add as many contacts as needed.
8. Favorites can be opened anytime via the Home view or from the "hamburger" menu in the upper left corner.
