Upgrading to the official release of Handheld Contact for Android.

Now that we have officially updated the application for Android our beta testing progress has ended.  In order to move from the beta stage to our official application, here are the steps you will need to follow in order.

Uninstall Handheld Contact Beta from Android device:

Open the Google Android Menu.
Press "Settings".
Press "Applications".
Press "Manage" (or "Manage Applications").
Find "Handheld Contact" in the list of installed applications.
Press "Handheld Contact".
Press the "Uninstall" button.

Resend all ACT! data to the mobile device from the Handheld Contact computer application:

Open the Handheld Contact computer application on the PC/server.
At top, click on "Maintenance".
Choose "Resend All Data to Handheld".
Check the box beside the Handheld Contact username associated with the Android and click "Send All".
Click "Yes" on the confirmation that comes up to continue.
Wait until all data has been sent and Handheld Contact states "Synchronization finished successfully".

Install the updated version of Handheld Contact Professional Edition for Android:

From the Android device's native internet browser visit: http://www.handheldcontact.com/ota.
If entered correctly, this will take you to the Google Play application.  It will take you directly to the Handheld Contact download screen.
Download the application.
Open "Handheld Contact" in "Downloads" on the Android device.  From home screen, view all apps, press "Downloads".
Enter you Handheld Contact account username (e-mail address) and password.
Press "Sign in".
Choose "Sync now".
Once the sync is finished, you should be all set to go.
